From one of the most celebrated farewell tours in baseball history, a Major League Baseball blessed and authenticated game-used third base from Cal Ripken's final swing through the MLB universe. This particular third base boasts an 8/10 Ripken black Sharpie autograph adjacent to the "8" that appeared rather prominently at the center of the base. On each side are plaques denoting Toronto Blue Jays, Ripken's "8" once again, and an American flag appearing on two sides. That would seem to be plenty of authentication in its own right, but there's also ample indication of game use on the top and the imprimatur of the Major League Baseball Authentication program in the form on its iconic hologram on the bottom. And the Ripken autograph gets the OK from the traditional venue.
