Super Bowl XXXV marked the return of Baltimore to the Super Bowl stage. Though the town had tasted post season glory with the Colts, the Ravens had yet to make the big game until 2000 when they earned a wild card seat and then plowed through the playoffs. Baltimore faced the powerful New York Giants who were almost single-handedly stopped by linebacker Ray Lewis, whose 4 blocked passes earned him the Super Bowl XXXV MVP honors. The 34-7 loss broke the Giants undefeated Super Bowl record. This staff model 10k gold Super Bowl Champions ring has the Ravens logo in gold mounted on a light purple stone. “BALTIMORE RAVENS 2000” runs around the edge. The left shank has a ribbon with “SET THE STANDARD” above a Ravens helmet and the team record of 16-4. The right shank has the Super Bowl XXXV logo with “WORLD CHAMPIONS.” The inside is engraved “Robert Stein” with a “10K” hallmark.
