The 1998 New York Yankees won more games, including the postseason, than any team in major league history. The Yankees finished 125-50 after an 11-2 romp through October that included a sweep of the Padres in the World Series. Joe Torre wore the offered jersey during the 1998 World Series as the Skipper of this legendary team many consider to be a modern version of “Murderer’s Row.’ On the left front tail is the "Russell Athletic Diamond Collection" manufacturer's label with size "46." Attached are two additional flag tags "100% Polyester" and "2" Extra Length." On the front left chest of the jersey is "NY" in navy blue tackle twill. On the back is the managers number "6" in navy blue tackle twill. On the right sleeve the "1998 World Series" patch. The jersey is signed on front in blue marker by Torre with his added notation "125-50 World Series Sweep” and rates a 9 out of 10. The jersey shows wear and appears to have no alterations of any kind. Accompanied by a LOA from Steiner letter, hand signed by Torre, indicating this was the shirt he wore during the 1998 World Series.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (Auto.).
