1997 St. Louis Cardinals home jersey game worn and signed by Hall of Fame closer Dennis Eckersley. Eckersley went 1-5 with 36 Saves and a 3.91 ERA in 1997, his final year as a Cardinal and the next to last of his career. Eckersley has signed the number 4 on the back in near perfect 9/10 looking black felt tip pen. Beautiful pair of cardinals atop a gold bat with "Cardinals in script below and his number "43" in red with black trim sewn on front. Jackie Robinson 50th Anniversary patch sewn on right sleeve with Cardinals and MDA Labor Day 1997 patch sewn on the left. "ECKERSLEY" in red with black trim sewn on nameplate on back above large "43" also in red with black trim sewn below. Rawlings, Size 46, and "SET 1 1997" tags sewn inside front tail. Jersey displays light/moderate game use.
