Following the Chicago Bulls 1996-97 NBA Championship, longtime team executive Judy Lynch requested a full-size men's ring instead of the charms and keepsakes that were usually awarded to women. This Size 10 1/2 ring is unique in that it was specially made, upon request, for a team front office executive. The stunning Jostens 14k gold team-type ring weighs 59 grams. The face of the ring features approximately 1.5 carats in the shape of the Bulls logo with a large .75-carat princess cut diamond in the center and two marquis-cut diamonds making up the eyes. The rest of the face is made up of approximately .50 carats of round-cut diamonds. The left panel features the name "Lynch" and a casted image of five Larry O’Brien Championship Trophys above the letters "TKTDPT" (indicating Ticket Department). The right panel reads “WORLD CHAMPIONS”, “TEAM OF THE DECADE” above a casted image of the United Center and the official NBA logo and “96-97.” The inside of the ring band is stamped "©14K." Accompanying this spectacular piece is its original, 7-by-5 1/2-inch hinged wood presentation box (3 inches tall). A gold-colored plaque situated at the top of the polished wood case reads, "CHICAGO BULLS - 1997 WORLD CHAMPIONS - JUDY LYNCH." All elements of the ring and presentation box appear to be in superb condition, essentially as-issued and problem-free.
