Presented here is a special 18” by 24” framed print signed and inscribed by Ted Williams, “To my friend Harmon Killebrew, Who could hit ‘em as far as anyone. Best Always, Ted Williams.” The piece originated from a fellow who compiled a large Harmon Killebrew collection acquired directly from the longtime Senators/Twins slugger nicknamed "The Killer." We can only assume that this was given by the Splendid Splinter to his fellow 500 Home Run Club member after Harmon and the others listed on the print (McCovey, Snider, Josh Gibson & Chuck Klein) were honored at the 1996 Ted Williams Hitters Hall of Fame Dedication held in Hernando, Florida. The large inscription comes in nearly perfect 9-10/10 blue marker.
