During the 1996-97 NBA season, New York Knicks’ star center Patrick Ewing played in 78 regular-season games, scored 1,751 points, blocked 189 shots and pulled down 834 rebounds. The Knicks finished the regular season with a record of 43-39, good for second place in the Eastern Conference’s Atlantic Division. This lot includes a pair of Ewing’s autographed and game-worn white “Nike Force” shoes from that season. The size 14 shoes show game wear and include the Basketball Hall of Famer's signature in black on the toe area of both shoes. The autographs, which include his uniform number 33, would rate 6-7/10 in our book.

Includes a Letter of Authenticity from Philip Coca, personal assistant to the late owner of the Los Angeles Lakers, Dr. Jerry Buss.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
