Keyshawn Johnson was one of the most colorful wide receivers in USC Trojans football history. As a Trojan, he was twice recognized as a consensus first-team All-America selection. After the 1994 college season, Johnson helped lead the Trojans to a win in the 1995 Cotton Bowl Classic, after which he was named the game's Most Valuable Player. The Trojans then played in the 1996 Rose Bowl, during which Johnson caught 12 passes for a Rose Bowl record 216 yards and one touchdown in the Trojans' 41–32 victory over the Northwestern Wildcats. He was named the Player of the Game. He was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame on December 31, 2008. This lot includes Johnson’s 1995 autographed and game-worn USC jersey and helmet. The No. 3 Nike mesh jersey has the W.A. Goodman & Sons washing instructions tag still intact on the front left and shows ample game use. Johnson autographed the front of the jersey in black marker on the top portion of the number “3.” The autograph, based on serious fading over time, rates 5-6/10. The game-worn Trojans Schutt helmet shows multiple scars and scuffs from game usage and includes Johnson’s signature in fine-point gold marker on the top left side. The autograph rates 7-8/10.

1/31/96 LOA from the University of Southern California signed by Athletic Director Mike Garrett.
