At the 1994 Daytona 500, veteran driver Sterling Marlin took the checkered flag for the first time in his storied career after 279 NASCAR races. He would repeat as champion the following year in his No. 4 Kodak-sponsored Chevrolet. This beautiful winner's ring from the Morgan-McClure Motorsports team features Marlin's No. "4" on the face decorated with CZ stones that sit atop a shiny red background. Raised around the face are "DAYTONA 500 1994 CHAMPION" with two more larger CZ studs. This 10-karat yellow gold ring was awarded to a crew member with the last name "GUINN", whose name appears in raised lettering on the right shank with the racing team name below and "GEAR" engraved at the bottom (crew member was most likely a mechanic). The left shank has the names of sponsors "Kodak film Racing" and "Delco" around a checkered racetrack. Inside the band of the size 7 ring (40g) is the Jostens manufacturer stamp; the 10k stamp is no longer visible due to internal wear. Overall, it presents in Mint condition with very clean exterior features.
