Can you ever really get too much of Sir Charles Barkley? Now a colorful NBA analyst on TNT, Barkley spent the majority of his 16-year playing career with the Philadelphia 76ers prior to four very successful seasons with the Phoenix Suns (1992-96). In fact, in his first season in the Valley of the Sun, Barkley was the league’s Most Valuable Player and took the Suns to the NBA Finals where they lost in six games to MJ and the Bulls. The fifth overall pick in the 1984 draft out of Auburn, Barkley was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2006.

This lot features Barkley’s 1994-95 Phoenix Suns game worn black alternative jersey, which he has signed on the number “3” on the back in 9/10 black felt tip pen. During the 1994-95 season for the Suns, “Mound Round of Rebound” tallied 23 points with 11.1 boards per game – right on his career averages. The rare black style jersey displays light to moderate wear. Sewn onto the left front tail is the appropriate Champion, Size 52, “Designed & Tailored 94-95 Exclusively for Phoenix Suns,” BODY LENGTH +3”, and Suns team logo tags. This jersey sold in our 2013 Fall Auction for over $2,000.

Includes JSA LOA for autograph. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
