Jürgen Klinsmann is among the greatest to ever don the prestigious Deutscher Fussball-Bund jersey. A clinical striker with a nose for the goal, Klinsmann tallied 47 goals in 108 caps during his 1987-98 run with the West Germany/Germany National Team, which is tied for 4th all-time. From the 1988 Euro Cup until the 1998 World Cup, Klinsmann had an amazing streak of scoring in every major international tournament. He starred for the West Germany squad that won the 1990 FIFA World Cup and his 11 career World Cup goals are sixth most all-time by any footballer. His outstanding European club career in the Bundesliga, Seria A and Premier League yielded a total of 227 goals in 506 games (1981-98). While his managerial career with Germany, Bayern Munich and the U.S. Men's National Team has been somewhat tumultuous, but he did guide USA to the Round of 16 at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil that ended with a close 2-1 loss to a star-studded Belgium squad.

Presented here is a Klinsmann's 1993 Germany National Team match worn jersey. Based on its provenance and Germany's international schedule that year, it was most likely worn in a November 17 friendly against Brazil in Koln, Germany, in which Klinsmann and company previaled, 2-1. The home white, long-sleeved shirt has the traditional black, red and yellow (Germany flag) stripes on the shoulders and the DFB team crest sewn on the right chest. Adidas manufacturer tagging is found inside the ribbed, multi-colored collar, which is trimmed in black with gold embossed DFB logos on either side. The Adidas Equipment logo appears on the front of the V-neck collar. Klinsmann's No. "18" appears in blacksuede on the back in block shadowed numbers. The shirt displays solid evidence of wear with scattered spot soiling/staining on the front. The style matches Getty image 548163537 from the 11/17/93 Germany vs. Brazil friendly.

Includes LOA from Brazil National Team (CBF) Technical Coordinator, who is also the nephew of former CBF President Ricardo Teixeira.
