Featured here are two Todd Ewen items from his days as an Anaheim Mighty Duck: his game-worn pair of Daoust skates and a 1996 game-issued, playoff-ready jersey. Ewen was a winger for the Mighty Ducks from their expansion 1993 season through the 1995-96 campaign. He played 11 NHL seasons. The black Daoust 501 leather skates have the brand's logo stamped on each side section and behind the heel. The logo has faded on the tongue from so much wear-and-tear. The skates have Tuuk stainless steel blades and Tuuk Plus blade holders, with Ewen's no. "36" penned in blue. The interior of each skate features two custom-fitting pads taped on each side of the ankle for protection. These skates are battered, with stick marks, board burns, paint transfers and other significant contact marks throughout. Amazingly, the white laces are totally intact and somewhat discolored. They come essentially as-issued and problem-free, but certainly not stench-free!

The white CCM size 56 jersey has the team's original Mighty Ducks logo and 'A' for Anaheim on the front with Ewen's #36 on the sleeves and back in purple tackle twill with white and teal piping. 'EWEN' on back is in purple on a white nameplate. It shows no game use, and based on the interior shirttail tagging "1996 STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS" it was issued and ready for a playoff series that Anaheim did not make. The Mighty Ducks finished in 9th place in the Western Conference in 1995-96, just missing the postseason. Jersey was mounted and framed in a museum using pins, which is evident in the shoulders and a few other areas.

Includes a Letter of Provenance from the Newport Sports Museum.
