Hard to overstate the importance of a game-worn and signed jersey from a member of the 3,000-Hit Club with attributed game use to the year he reached the milestone. Two-time American League MVP Robin Yount posted a career .285 batting average with 251 home runs, 1,632 runs scored and 1,406 runs batted in, numbers that helped propel him to a 1999 rendezvous with immortality in Cooperstown. On Sept. 9, 1992, Yount collected his 3,000th career hit, becoming the 17th player to reach the mark. This sparkling gamer traces its lineage to that historic season. The jersey shows excellent game use but is otherwise largely as-issued and problem-free. A Russell Athletic Size 44 tag appears on the front tail of the pinstriped jersey, with an attached "1-Inch Extra Sleeve Length" flag tag and a much smaller fabric content tag. "Brewers" is underscored in cursive script on front and crafted in blue and gold tackle twill. Applied to the collar is a cloth "92 Yount 44" tag. Yount signed the front in black felt tip, adding his "3142" inscription of his career hit total. Comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Steiner Sports.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
