The Columbus Clippers today are the AAA affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians, but in 1992 were the AAA affiliate of the New York Yankees. The team finished first in the International League's West Division with a record of 95-49. In the first round of the playoffs, they swept the Richmond Braves before defeating the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons 3-2 in the finals. Offered here is a 10K gold ring from that championship presented to shortstop Dave Silvestri. The face of the ring features a Yankees logo surrounded by diamonds and the words "INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE CHAMPIONS 1992." One one shank is the Columbus Clippers logo above the overall record, including playoffs, of 101-51. On the opposite shank is the name "SILVESTRI" above the Yankees alternate logo and the word "PRIDE." Inside is stamped with "J10K." Ring is size 13.
