The 1992 USA Olympic "Dream Team" is the best group of basketball players ever assembled. With a starting lineup of Jordan, Magic, Barkley, Malone, and Ewing, their opponents never really stood a chance. Offered here is a 12" by 10.5" poster display autographed by Coach Daly's most lethal starting five during the 1992 Olympic tournament in Barcelona. We have never before seen an image from this Olympic photoshoot. All autographs are signed in permanent markers: Jordan in gold (9/10), Ewing in silver (8/10), Magic in red personized "To Peter" (7/10), Malone in black (7-8/10) and Barkley in silver (8-9/10). We are unsure who the recipient named Peter is, and we are also perplexed as to whose idea it was to have Sir Charles wrap his leg around The Mailman and rest his foot on Karl's knee. We know one thing: no way His Airness would participate in such buffoonery!
This team played eight games during the 1992 Olympics, going an undefeated with a winning margin no lower than 38 points. The poster has some surface crinkling with some scratches and minor creasing. It comes nicely matted with an appropriate title within a 19.5" by 18" frame ready for one's wall. Includes full LOA from Beckett (which names all five autographs as authentic but counts 4 on the letter--just a clerical error).
