Magnificent 1992-93 Montreal Canadiens 14K Gold Stanley Cup Championship "A" ring prepared for Claude Mouton, public relations director for the Montreal Canadiens from 1973 through 1993. After dropping the opening game of the Stanley Cup finals to the Wayne Gretzky led Los Angeles Kings, the Canadiens came back to win the next 3 games in overtime on way to a 4-1 Series victory. This would be a record 24th Stanley Cup for the storied Montreal franchise and mark the last time a Canadian team has won the Cup. In 1968 Mouton started as the stadium announcer for the Montreal Forum. When the Expos played at Parc Jarry during the first 5 years of their existence, from 1969 through 1973 he was the park announcer. At the 1976 Montreal Olympics he was the announcer for both the opening and closing ceremonies. Unfortunately he passed away 2 months before his beloved Canadiens won the Stanley Cup. Circle of diamonds surround a raised diamond encrusted Stanley Cup on top with "1993" at the bottom edge. Diamonds total 1.5 Karats and 150 points. On one shank is "MOUTON", the Canadiens logo in red enamel, and "P.R.". The other shank has "CANADIENS MONTREAL" along with the Stanley Cup centennial logo and "24 TOGETHER". "14K EVEREST" is stamped on the inside. Ring size 13. Awesome looking ring!
