Dirk Graham was a pioneer for African-Americans in the NHL. He was the first black player to be named team captain and later became the first African-American head coach. The Canadian winger began his playing career with the Minnesota North Stars in 1984 where he was known as more of an enforcer on the ice. It was with the Chicago Blackhawks in 1988 campaign where Graham took his game to another level, becoming an All-Star and winning the Selke Trophy in '91 as the league's top defensive forward. He earned his captainship and sported this attractive red Blackhawks gamer during the 1992-93 season when Chicago finished with the best record in the Campbell Conference. Graham played in 84 games and talled 37 points along with 137 penalty minutes, getting back to his early-career form.

The bulky red knit jersey with black and white striping has the reputable "C" captain's patch sewn on the left chest. The iconic Stanley Cup 100th Anniversary patch adorns the right chest. Front and center is the most beautiful team crest in all of sports. Graham has added his 8/10 black pen autograph right next to it. Graham's player No. "33" appears on the back and sleeves in white on black tackle twill. His last name is sewn across the back in white on a red namplate. Each shoulder has the crossed tomahawks "C" logo patch. Appropriate Maska tagging is sewn inside the collar with a size "54" flag tag. The CCM and NHL logo patches are sewn on the outer back tail. The internal fight strap is still perfectly intact, surprising when you consider how much Dirk liked to drop the gloves. The sweater displays a season's worth of game use with slashes, gashes, puck marks, paint transfers and more. We count over 20 team repairs! Most of these are clumped on right sleeve. With the level of wear and direct team provenance, this is one of the finer contemporarly Hawks gamers you will find.

Includes LOA from Chicago Blackhawks former Senior VP and General Manager, Bob Pulford.
