Alonzo Mourning wore these Nike Air Force sneakers during his 1992-93 rookie season. Mourning’s 21.0 points, 10.3 rebounds and 3.47 blocks per game average made him a shoo-in for the league’s All-Rookie Team and he finished a close second to Shaquille O’Neal for the Rookie of the Year Award. Mourning went on to a 15 year NBA career that produced a World Championship, pair of Olympic Gold medals and a place in the Pro Basketball Hall of Fame. These rookie season size 17 Nikes have all the appropriate tagging and show good game use with the expected scuffs and wear expected from a rookie out to prove himself in the NBA. Mourning has signed the outside rear panel of both sneakers in bold black marker adding his number “33”. A great set of signed nikes from the very beginning of a Hall of Famer’s career.
