From 1990-93, Barry Bonds won three of four National League MVP awards, finishing as runner-up in 1991. His early '90s stretch with the Pittsburgh Pirates earned him the title of 'best in baseball' even before he left for San Francisco. He was practically a Hall of Famer before he even put on the Giants uniform, and certainly well before his body and nutrition came into question at the turn of the millennium. Whether we like it or not, in the record books he is baseball's home run king. Presented here is a 1991-92 Bonds gamer swung at the end of his Pirates tenure during that unprecedented MVP streak, one he would surpass a decade later in San Fran with four straight.

The Louisville Slugger Barry Bonds professional model H238 bat is un-cracked with evidence of light use. A few ball marks are visible on the left barrel. Ball marks include black ink transfers. There is a light coat of pine tar on the handle. Bonds' player number (24) is written on the knob in bleeding black marker and top of the barrel in black marker. Bonds has autographed the front barrel in black. Includes LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA (1B17878) with a GU 7 grade. Beckett LOA (A52329) for autograph.
