The 1989 Peach Bowl would see the Syracuse Orangemen face off against the Georgia Bulldogs. Syracuse would come out on top by the score of 19-18. The offered ring and watch were presented to Bob Pittard who was the recruiting coordinator for the Georgia Bulldogs football team. Both the ring and watch were made by Jostens and both are in excellent condition.
