Offered in this lot is a 1989 Kirk Gibson game ready and autographed Worth 'WC137' professional model bat. The bat remains in excellent condition with no cracks while featuring bat rack streaks and a coat of pine tar present on the handle. The initials 'KG' can be noticed on the bat knob along with '4 1/2' and 'WC137' denoting the length and model number. '23' is written in on the knob in black marker and on the top barrel in gold marker. Gibson autographed the ball above the Worth logo in gold permanent marker for excellent eye appeal on the black base of the bat. An amazing piece of history that mimics the style of bat used for his iconic MVP and World Series Championship season. The bat is accompanied by a full LOA for the bat authentication as well as for the autograph authentication (Cert. #s: 1B00260, 2A16910).
