Beautiful 14K Gold 1988 Los Angeles Dodgers World Series Championship ring presented to Dodger scout Jerry Morales.

The Series is best remembered for Kirk Gibson's dramatic pinch-hit, game winning home run in the bottom of the ninth inning off Oakland relief ace Dennis Eckersley in Game 1 at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers went on to take the Series in 5 games.

Morarles had a long career in baseball as a player, coach and scout. Over his playing career he compiled a lifetime batting average of .259, hit 95 home runs and knocked in 570 runs. Outfielder Morales was even a 1977 All-Star as a member of the Chicago Cubs!

The 14K yellow gold ring has a single diamond inset on a blue back stone encircled by smaller diamonds. "World Champion Dodgers 1988" encircles the bezel. One side displays the "LA" logo with "MORALES" above. The other side has the Dodgers script logo above a rendering of a World Series trophy. It is stamped "Balfour 14K" on the interior band. The size 11 ring shows light wear. The ring comes in a navy blue Balfour "Awards for Champions" box.

There is a hand written LOA from Mr. Morales himself.
