Offered is a 1988 Kirk Gibson game used and autographed Worth 'WC137' professional model bat. The bat exhibits evidence of outstanding use with a handle crack that was repaired. Many ball marks and stitch impressions are visible on the right and back barrel, while cleat marks can be seen on the left and back barrel. The initials 'KG' can be noticed on the bat knob along with '4 1/2' and 'WC137' denoting the length and model number. '23' is written on the knob in black marker and on the top barrel in silver marker. Gibson autographed the bat on the right barrel in silver marker and inscribed “’88 NLCS.” An amazing piece of history that was used during his iconic playoff run to the 1988 World Series title. Includes a Full LOA from PSA/DNA with a GU 9.5 grade and a Beckett LOA for the autograph.
