Featured here are two New Jersey game-worn pieces from the mid-late 1980's that are difficult to find in the hobby: a Tim McCormick 1978-88 full game-worn road uniform complete with blue jersey and blue shorts; and a 1986-87 Leon Wood game-worn home white jersey. On the front left tail of both jerseys is a strip tag that reads “Designed & Tailored Exclusively for NEW JERSEY NETS” with a “Sand-Knit” manufacturer’s tag. McCormick's jersey is a size 46 with two adjacent strip tags that read “87” and “4”LB”. Wood's is a size 42 with “86” and “4”LB”. Both jerseys have the official “NBA” logo embroidered over the left chest. Across the front reads “NETS” with their respective numbers front and back. The McCormick road has "NEW JERSEY" down the red stripe on the left side. Wood's home does not. McCormick's blue shorts have "NJ" in red with white outline on the left side; Rawlings size 34 tagging inside waistband. All game-worn articles show appropriate game-use.

Includes Letter of Provenance from collector Bruce Tennen.

Bruce Tennen's passion for Tigers baseball as a boy eventually lead him to pursue a career in the sports industry, covering Arizona teams as an AP journalist in the late 70’s and working in the front office for the San Diego Clippers in the early 80’s. He would later move on to a successful career in mortgage banking, arranging credit and acquisition funding for numerous Pistons players, executives and broadcasters. Bruce has been fortunate enough to build relationships with dozens of professional athletes and team executives, giving him the connections necessary to build his impressive collection.
