Detlef Schrempf wore this jersey during his sophomore NBA season in 1987-88 with the Dallas Mavericks. Unable to get adequate playing time, Schrempf’s career took off when he was traded to Indiana the next year where he finished 2nd in the NBA in 3-point shooting percentage. Early gamers of the German star are hard to come by.

The white home mesh jersey has “MAVERICKS” arched above Schrempf’s number “32” in blue, white and green tackle twill. A Sand-Knit size 46 label is sewn in the lower left front tail with two white strip tags with “87” and “4”LB” chain stitched in black. There is a blank strip tag sewn inside the collar and the arm and neck openings are trimmed in blue, green and white ribbing. The back has “SCHREMPF” and his number “23” in blue, white and green tackle twill. The jersey shows medium game use with some tearing to the mesh on the lower front of the piece below the “2” and also above the Sand-Knit label where the Sand-Knit/Dallas Mavericks label has been removed. The white mesh shows light toning overall. The tackle twill graphics show some light puckering and lose threads.
