With 329 wins, 4,136 strikeouts, 55 shutouts and six seasons of 20 or more wins in a Methuselah-like career of 24 years, Steve Carlton assured himself a place in the lore and legend of baseball commensurate with his status as one of the top pitchers of his generation. And despite playing for a half dozen different teams, he truly will largely be remembered as a Phillie, where it all came together, with five of his six 20-win campaigns there, to say nothing of all four of his Cy Young Awards. This powder-blue jersey bears witness to all that greatness, showing ample game use and a grand presentation from the sparkling Phillie red-and-white stitched letters and his No. 32, along with the distinctive Phillie "P" on the front left breast. All those elements show barely the slightest whisper of fraying of the stitching or any loss of color intensity; the shirt has a "Carlton" embroidered tag on the collar and the appropriate Wilson tagging on the lower front, plus the "86 2" smaller blue tag beneath it. The Hall of Famer has signed on the front in bold blue Sharpie, adding "72, 77. 80, 82" beneath, the four Cy Young Award years, as a suitable inscription.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
