1986-1987 was John Bagley’s last season in a Cavs uniform and he made it count. The point guard recorded career highs in both 3-point percentage (.301) and free throws (.831). Bagley’s jersey can be dated to the 1986-87 season by the lack of netting under the ball in the Cavs logo. This logo with the combination of the NBA patch was only found during this season.

The 86-87 orange mesh road jersey has the “CAVS” logo and Bagley’s number “5” on the front in white and blue tackle twill. The neck and sleeve openings are trimmed in white and blue ribbing and an NBA logo patch is on the left shoulder. A size 44 MacGregor Sand Knit label is sewn in the lower left front tail with a Sand Knit/Cleveland Cavaliers label sewn above. The back has “BAGLEY” in white tackle twill on an orange mesh name plate above his number “5” in white and blue tackle twill. A cleaning label is sewn inside the right inseam. The jersey shows light toning overall with no tears or clubhouse repairs. A few threads are loose and the tackle twill graphics show some light puckering but the colors on this scarce one-season jersey remain very vibrant. See Getty 91160061 for style/photo-match.
