While the 1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan example may be viewed as His Airness' rookie card, his 1984 Star Co. Basketball #100 XRC issue dates back to his actual rookie season. The back features only his college stats from UNC before MJ became the most famous (now headscratching) #3 overall draft pick in NBA history. These cards were originally distributed in sealed team bags with the Jordan on top in a production run believed to have been below 5,000. This offered example was graded PSA EX-MT 6 by PSA and features sharp corners, straight edges, clean borders and a silky-smooth surface. Centering is about 30/70 left to right and 60/40 top to bottom. Other than centering, there is very little wrong with this card and it's one of the better "mid-grade" examples you will find.
