While the 1986 Fleer #57 Michael Jordan example may be viewed as His Airness' rookie card, his 1984 Star Co. Basketball #100 XRC issue dates back to his actual rookie season. The back features only his college stats from UNC before MJ became the most famous #3 overall draft pick in NBA history. These cards were originally distributed in sealed team bags with the Jordan on top in a production run believed to have been below 5,000. This example was graded NM-MT 8 by PSA and features smooth edges, clean borders and surface, sharp corners, and a super clean back. The only noticeable blemish is 35/65 horizontal centering, a common issue for Star cards. Only 5 copies of MJ's true RC have been graded higher. This is easily one of the nicest examples of this key basketball card you will find from any grading company.

1984-85 Star Co. Basketball #101 Michael Jordan XRC (True Rookie) – PSA NM-MT 8 (Only Five Higher!)
