The Raiders defeated the Redskins by the score of 38–9. The Raiders' 38 points and their 29-point margin of victory broke Super Bowl records; it remains the most points scored by an AFC team in a Super Bowl, and the only Super Bowl won by a Los Angeles-based team. The game was played on January 22, 1984, at Tampa Stadium in Tampa, Florida, the first time the Super Bowl was held in that city. The Raiders Super Bowl pendant awarded to the players is a spectacular piece of 10K gold jewelry that mimics the face of the Super Bowl rings from that game. Produced by Lenox, the pendant features three large cubic zirconia stones representing the team's three Super Bowl victories; set on three "footballs" against a black onyx backdrop, the CZ stones are encircled by a total of 10 real diamonds. “LOS ANGELES RAIDERS WORLD CHAMPIONS” is on the top and bottom of the perimeter in high relief, while both perimeter sides have five real diamonds. Engraved on the back of the pendant is "LA 10K." The pendant appears to be in essentially as-issued and problem-free condition, and comes in a simulated leather jewelry 2-inch-square box.
