This New Era Cincinnati Reds pro model cap is attributed to Johnny Bench from the 1983 season. The cap exhibits moderate use with dirt staining present along the bottom of the bill, front of the headband and in the wishbone "C" logo embroidered on front. The bill has dried somewhat and cracked in two places. The size tag has been clipped from the back of the cap, but it measures out to approximately a size 7 1/2. Bench has autographed and inscribed the cap with "Catch Ya Later" in black sharpie on the underside of the bill. His uniform number "5" is written on the interior in slightly faded black marker. An accompanying LOA from MEARS states that the cap was obtained by a client of theirs directly after a game in 1983. Includes a LOA from MEARS. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA (auto.).
