This lot features a beautifully-designed circular 10K gold pendant commemorating the Boston Celtics 14th title and the first of the Larry Bird era. The front displays "1981 BOSTON CELTICS WORLD CHAMPIONS" in raised gold lettering surrounding a three-leaf clover in green enamel that’s topped by a stunning singular real diamond in the center. The verso is stamped "BALFOUR 10K." Measures thirteen-sixteenths of an inch (13/16") in diameter and weighs exactly eight grams. A spectacular memento from Larry Legend’s first NBA championship in Boston that set the stage for the franchise’s tremendous 80's dynasty.
