This is a great pair of Springfield Indians home and road jerseys worn by No. 14 forward Todd Johnson during the 1981-82 season. The white mesh home jersey has “INDIANS” diagonally down the front in red and blue tackle twill. Red, white and blue stripes trim the arms, shoulders and waist and red and white ribbing trims the collar. A Good Sports label is sewn inside the collar with size “52” and “81” hang tags affixed. The left sleeve has Johnson’s number “14” in red and blue tackle twill and the right sleeve has the Springfield Indians AHL 1936 Charter Member patch. The back has “JOHNSON” in red and blue tackle twill on a white name plate above his number “14” in the same colors. A cloth fight strap is sewn to the interior. The jersey shows heavy game use with many abrasion stains and scuffs throughout and the tackle twill graphics show some puckering and loose threads.
