Before Woodson's coaching career, he had an illustrious eleven-year NBA playing career and enjoyed his best tenure on the Kansas City Kings in the 1980s. This lot offers a road blue knit warm up sweatsuit with a seven-snap front. A large Kings patch is presented over the left chest with an overside NBA logo on the bottom right portion. The rear displays "KINGS" in red, white, and blue tackle twill. The Wilson tagging on the inner collar reads size 46 with the number "42" written in denoting the player's number. The pants feature red, white, and blue stripes down the snap-on sides. The Wilson size 32 tagging remains intact. "30" has been penned in black permanent marker by the team's equipment manager, presumably for another player who had the uniform pants beforehand. Woodson displayed his best game during his 1982-83 season with the Kings, averaging 18.2 PPG, while shooting .506 from the field.
