Offered here are five 1980's game used bats from former San Francisco Giants who remain fan favorites to this day.
1) 1983-85 Mike Krukow Louisville Slugger S2 Pro Model (mahogany), un-cracked with light to moderate
use. 35 inches and 32.2 ounces. His uniform No. 39 marked on knob.
2) 1985-86 Jeffrey Leonard Rawlings Adirondack 'Hac Man' Pro Model, un-cracked with solid use including large ball mark on barrel. 34.5 inches and 33.3 ounces. His uniform No. 20 marked on knob.
3) 1986-87 Chili Davis Louisville Slugger Y30 Pro Model (black), un-cracked with moderate
and consistent use throughout. 35 inches and 33.7 ounces. Faint appearance of "3" on barrel end (he wore uniform #'s 30 and 33 w/ Giants).
4) 1986-89 Candy Maldonado Louisville Slugger T141 Pro Model (mahogany two toned), un-cracked with solid use including white bat rack streaks on barrel. 35 inches and 32.6 ounces. His uniform No. 21 is marked on knob along with Spanish slang "Pang-Dejo" that means something too inappropriate to translate.
5) 1983-84 Jack Clark Louisville Slugger M253 Pro Model, un-cracked with moderate
and consistent use throughout. 34 inches and 30.5 ounces. Same model # that he
regularly ordered, but No. 35 marked on knob means another player (i.e. Tom
O'Malley or Chris Brown) likely used it.
Includes letter of provenance from the daughter of a longtime MLB executive whose name will be revealed to the winning bidder.
