From the greatest pitcher in the history of the Baltimore Orioles comes this exceptional game-worn 1980 road jersey in superb original condition. Jim Palmer was one of the great pitchers of his generation, winning 268 games over the course of a 19-year career that saw him win three Cy Young Awards, four Gold Gloves and make six All-Star appearances, all while leading the Orioles to three World Series Championships. The jersey is a fitting testament to all those heroics, with blazing Orioles orange setting off the black-and-white lettering and numerals in spectacular fashion. There is little or no fraying of the stitching on most of the sewn elements, save only for the slightest signs on the Palmer nameplate on the back. The shirt is in virtually problem-free and as-issued condition, with the appropriate Wilson Size 44 tagging on the collar and the small, orange tag with black embroidered lettering of "80 1" on the lower front. An exceptional Palmer gamer in every respect.
