This jersey was worn by defenseman Doug Butler of the Springfield Indians during the 1980-81 season. The black mesh road jersey has the Springfield Indians logo on the chest in gold, white and black tackle twill. gold, white and black stripes are on the waist and arms and there is a Stall & Dean label in the collar with size”52” and cleaning instructions strip tags. “24” is on each shoulder and the back with “BUTLER” in gold, white and black tackle twill. A fight strap sewn inside. The jersey shows good game use with several clubhouse repairs and tear, particularly on the cuffs. There are some abrasion scuffs visible and puckering on the tackle twill graphics from repeated laundering. A rarely seen jersey from one of the founding members of the American Hockey League.
