A sixteenth National League pennant is commemorated by this impressive 14k white gold ring issued to a groundskeeper at Dodgers Stadium. A blue stone at center is adorned with a "Dodgers" logo and a single inset diamond with the look of a baseball lofting skyward. "National League Champions 1978" wraps around the perimeter of the stone. The Left shank features crossed bats behind a baseball with the original owner's (Bill Moolenaar) facsimile signature stamped into the sweet spot. The right shank provides an "LA" logo and the number "3,347,845," making note of the first time in Major League history a team surpassed three million in attendance.
