1.) Baseball used in 1978 World Series play. The ball, featuring exclusive 1978 World Series manufacturer’s labeling, was obtained on site by our consignor who was a television cameraman . The ball shows appropriate soiling and usage wear. The 1978 World Series matched the defending champion New York Yankees against the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rematch of the 1977 Series, with the Yankees winning in six games to repeat as champions.

2.) Baseball used in 1979 World Series play. The ball, featuring exclusive 1979 World Series manufacturer’s labeling, was obtained on site by our consignor who was a television cameraman . The ball shows appropriate soiling and usage wear. The 1979 World Series matched the National League's Pittsburgh Pirates (98–64) against the American League's Baltimore Orioles (102–57), with the Pirates coming back from a three games to one deficit to win the Series in seven games. The Pirates were famous for adopting Sister Sledge's hit anthem "We Are Family" as their theme song.

Lot includes a LOA from our consignor.
