Chaney has the distinction of being the only Celtic who played with both Bill Russell and Larry Bird. This green road jersey he wore during the 1978-1980 seasons has “CELTICS” and Chaney’s number “12” on he front in white tackle twill. The neck and sleeve openings are trimmed in green and white ribbing. A Medalist Sand Knit label is sewn in the lower left front tail with a white “44” hand tag affixed. A white strip tag with “16” embroidered in black is sewn adjacent. The back has “CHANEY” and his number “12” in white tackle twill. The jersey exhibits moderate to heavy game use with light puckering the tackle twill graphics, some loose threads and light toning throughout. Authentic LOA from MEARS.
