A stunning action shot of Walter Payton running the football during his first ever MVP season in 1977 with the Bears. It appears that there is a downed Viking just below Payton's extended left arm, presumably just hit with a thunderous stiff arm from the eventual MVP. The 8" x 10" black and white photo has crystal clear quality and only the edges has some mild edge wear and discoloration. Reverse has a NFL Properties detailed index card affixed and notes the Chicago 16 Vikings 22 final score from the divisional matchup on 10-16-1977. Encapsulated and graded PSA/DNA TYPE I.
