In 1977, the New York Yankees, managed by Billy Martin, won the franchise’s 21st World Series championship by beating the N.L. Champion Los Angeles Dodgers in six games. In fact, this was the Fall Classic that was decided in Game 6 off the bat of one Reginald Martinez Jackson. Reggie blasted three consecutive home runs on three consecutive first pitch deliveries to cement the series-clinching victory and was forever referred to as “Mr. October” thereafter.

This lot features a 1977 New York Yankees World Champions 14K gold pendant. It includes a large "NY" logo on the front of the pendant that is filled with 19 small real diamonds set against a black stone. Surrounding the stone is "Yankees World Champions" in raised gold lettering. The back of the pendant is engraved "BALFOUR 14K.” Despite its age of 31 years, the pendant shows very little signs of wear and remains strikingly elegant.
