Roger Staubach is American football and sports royaly from his feats quarterbacking the U.S. Naval Academy and Dallas Cowboys squads. He competed and carried himself with poise and class and is one of a kind.

One of the key moments of Staubach's legacy was the Dallas Cowboys NFC divisional playoff game on December 28, 1975 against the Minnesota Vikings, on the Vikings home turf of Metropolitan Stadium.

Facing adversity and little time left on the clock, a scramble led to Roger heaving a long pass to receiver Drew Pearson for a stunning touchdown, putting the Cowboys ahead, the play that won the game!

In the post-game comments Staubach reached back to his Catholic upbringing in Cincinnati, Ohio and famously referred to the last-hope pass as a "Hail Mary", a term that became cemented in the sports lexicon from that moment on for late game desperation and hopes for a miracle play to save the day.

Presented here is a PSA authenticated ticket stub, graded a Good 2, from the "Hail Mary" game.
