Here's a cool bit of ABA history: a team-signed basketball from the 1975-76 Utah Stars, the club that folded up its tent too early to be included in the later merger with the NBA. The distinctive ABA basketball with its red-white-and-blue color scheme, presents in classic fashion here, with 11 signatures mostly 5/10 to 6/10, but a couple having faded nearly into the netherworld that welcomed the franchise with its Dec. 1 demise. Stars standouts Moses Malone, Ron Boone, Randy Denton, John Ropche and Jim Eakins headline the grouping of 11 signatures that also features Goo Kennedy, Don Washington, Al Smith, and Ken Gardner. The Official Rawlings ABA ball is as super as the ABA lore and legend it embodies, presenting in spectacular fashion and betraying only light age toning on the white panels. All things considered, an important moment in the checkered history of the American Basketball Association is represented here; the Stars in question may have penned their names to this beauty just before turning out the lights.

Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
