NBA Hall of Fame center Moses Malone got his start playing professional basketball for the Utah Stars of the ABA. During the 1974-75 season, his first in the league, Malone averaged over 83 games scoring 18.8 points and 14.6 rebounds per game. This lot includes a full game-worn warm-up suit that’s been attributed to his rookie season with the Stars.

Across the front and back of the red, white and blue warm-up jacket is "Utah Stars" team name and logos, also in white, red, and blue screen print. The warm-up jacket includes a “Rawlings” manufacturer’s tag (size 40) that has a special white tag sewn next to it reading: “3 INCH EXTRA LENGTH.” On the back inside waistband of the accompanying pants is the "Rawlings" manufacturer’s tag with size "32" on it. Sewn next to that is a special tag marked: 40” INSEAM. "The jackets and pants show minor wear and appear to have no alterations of any kind.
