Louie Dampier checks all the basketball boxes...

-Indiana high school basketball star

-University of Kentucky All-American under Adolph Rupp

-Played in 1966 NCAA Finals

-ABA All-Star with the Kentucky Colonels and prolific 3 point shooter

-ABA champion with the 1974-75 Colonels coached by Hubie Brown

-Member of the NBA San Antonio Spurs after the leagues merged

-Basketball Hall of Fame inductee in 2015

Presented here is Dampier's colorful ABA Kentucky Colonels warmup jacket from that 1974-75 championship season. It's a royal bule Rawlings size 42 with the classic Colonels logo on the front left area, lettering and trim in red and white. The letters LOUIE are boldly displayed in white letters and red trim on the back.

Dampier played the entire nine year run of the ABA. He is the ABA's all time leader in games played, points, 3 pointers made, minutes and assists. With all due respect to Julius "Dr. J." Erving, you could say Louie was the most significant player in ABA history.
