The vote to induct Warren Spahn into the Hall of Fame was merely a formality. In a career spanning two decades, “Spahnny” won 363 games, ranking him first among any left-hander to play the game. 17 times he was voted to the All-Star team, and he pitched the Braves to three NL pennants and a World Championship. A Cy Young Award in 1957 was the icing on a career that saw him winning 20 games or more in 13 seasons.

Warren Spahn was issued this lovely 10-karat gold ring upon his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1973. The top of the ring features a gold baseball mounted on a black stone surrounded by “BASEBALL HALL OF FAME” in raised letters. The left shank has "Warren Spahn" above crossed bats with, "Elected 1973" below. The right shank has "PITCHER" engraved on a banner above an image of the Hall of Fame. The inside of the ring is stamped with "Balfour 10K.” You can see how much Spahn appreciated his Hall of Fame ring as it shows evident wear from years after his induction. Each individual Hall of Fame rings is a  1-of-1 and this one belonged to the greatest southpaw winner in MLB history.
