The ticket stub presented here comes from the December 23, 1972 AFC Divisional Playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Oakland Raiders. This as the date of one of the football's best-known moments. NFL Films named that day's "Immaculate Reception" as the league's greatest play of all time. When Terry Bradshaw threw a Hail Mary pass to Frenchy Fuqua, the Raiders aggressive DB Jack Tatum delivered a vicious hit just as the ball arrived that sent it flying end over end several yards backward. Just when all hope looked lost for Pittsburgh, Franco Harris gobbled up the pigskin just before it hit the ground and ran it in for a touchdown. What is also amazing is that a lucky fan got both thrower and receiver, Bradshaw and Harris, to sign an actual ticket stub from the game. One lucky collector will take home this memento 50 years later, which was encapsulated authentic by PSA/DNA.
