During the 1970-71 NBA season, Los Angeles Lakers 34-year-old center Wilt Chamberlain was still dominant in the paint. The 7’ 1” mainstay averaged 20.7 points and a league best 18.2 rebounds per outing. Not surprisingly he was named to his 11th All-Star team, this time battling for the Western Conference squad. Playing a reserve role behind starting center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chamberlain still managed to pull down eight boards and dish out five assists through 18 minutes of play at the San Diego Sports Arena. He added a single bucket for two points.

This lot features the Western Conference All-Stars game worn jersey “Wilt the Stilt” donned that day (Jan. 12, 1971) when he and his West teammates outlasted the East, 108-107. The gray jersey is trimmed with red and blue piping around the collar and both sleeves and reads “WEST” across the front in blue tackle twill outlined in red. In reverse fashion, his uniform number “13” on the front is done in red on blue tackle twill. Proper “Wilson [size] 46” manufacturers tagging appears on the left front tail complete with washing instructions included. The back of the jersey reads “CHAMBERLAIN” arched across the shoulders in red tackle twill, while his uniform number “13” appears in blue on red tackle twill. The jersey exhibits solid wear and comes in outstanding all-original condition as suggested by its perfect A10 grade from MEARS.

Nice footage of Wilt in first video starting around the 6:30 mark.
