Proudly presented here is this vintage 1971 Topps card, graded a lofty MINT 9 by PSA, of basketball icon "Pistol Pete" Maravich.
This is the first card of Pete where he appears in his colorful Atlanta Hawks rookie jersey. This card is a rare gem, as a mere (7) have ever been graded higher.
‘Pistol Pete' was most well known for his floppy socks and flashy playmaking, but unfortunately passed away in 1988 at the young age of 40, only increasing his popularity in the hobby, and cementing him as a legend gone too soon.
